Welcome to my weekly post about all things that relate to dollies!
This week I fell down the rabbit hole to all things Blythe-related. Last week I already mentioned that I have not been to the physical Junie Moon store in Tokyo yet and now I found out that there is a brand-new store in the Marui Annex building in Shinjuku, where I actually spent some time last year because this department store also contains restaurants and a cinema. The best thing about this store is that it has its own instagram, where you can check out the beautiful interior and cuties on display. I love what they did to Ufo A Go-Go’s hair. I tried to copy it, but I still have a long way to go how to handle my dolls’ hair. In general my Blythe’s hair feels quite different than my Pullips’. More slippery and greasy?!
Groove also released more pictures of Disney Doll Cinderella with close-ups from AnimeJapan 2017 and I now definitely decided that she is not my cup of tea at all. I really hope that they will start to release more Pullips soon-especially because those Disney Dolls do not even go under the Pullip-category. Still I am kind of hoping that the Snow White (if they make one, that is) will be really cute!
Behind the scenes I still have a long way to go and hope that everybody can enjoy my blog even more in the future. It is wonderful to be able to share all the things that light my heart on fire and brighten up my day. It is one of my goals to share this passion with people that have the same interests and to give my honest opinion in reviews!
Thank you so much for reading!

I just discovered your blog – I love reading your posts! Your love and enthusiasm for your dolls is so fun!
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and honeymoon! I’ll be in Japan in June and I’m excited to visit so many places. I’m lucky to have family in Japan but it’s been 10 years since I’ve been there!
I agree with you about Pullip Cinderella – I really want to see some more new Pullips!
I am looking forward to more of your posts -they are so fun!
Hi Mari!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment-it means a lot! <3
It's so amazing that you get to go to Japan so soon! I wish you the best time ever and lots of yummy food! Are you also going to check out toy stores?
Maybe 2016 spoiled Pullip lovers too much, but I kind of hope that Groove will continue their schedule of one Pullip/month soon.
Thank you as well for you congratulations and I really hope that you will like my future posts!

Hi Theri! I really do want to visit toy stores when I’m there! I just need to figure out which ones – definitely Junior Moon and the Azone labelshop. I’ll have my daughter with me, which is good because I would buy too much stuff on my own!!!
Yaaay, Azone is so great! Last time I was so overwhelmed/intimidated that I just looked for the Pullips and did not browse through the 1/6-clothes. Their Azone-brand clothing should fit Pullip and they regularly release new items. When you are finished in the Azone shop, there is also another store two floors down that has a large display with Groove dolls and a large selection of Pullips.
I definitely also love Kiddyland in Harajuku and Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Ginza, where they have a separate doll store on -1, when you enter around the corner from the main entrance. They did not have a large selection of Pullips, but it was still nice to browse. They sell so many cuties! ๐
The Mandarake-stores are also quite interesting and I like that you can check out their merchandise online.
It is very good to have company that helps you to not get too distracted-from the things you were actually looking for and from your budget! ><
Wow – thank you for all of the recommendations! I really appreciate it. I will definitely go to all of them. My daughter is 7 so I can say we are going for her… but would it be too selfish just to buy things for me???? ๐
You are absolutely welcome!:) Haha, I think that’s fine as long as you are going to share! ๐
