A few weeks ago I was lucky to be able to visit the new Hatsune Miku figure exhibition in Yokohama’s Doll Museum on its opening day. To celebrate the occasion, Groove Inc. was displaying their newest interpretation of the Vocaloid icon, which will go on sale this month. As of now, we do not know, whether she will become a regular release later on, but apparently the museum will only have 250 dolls for sale.
This special Miku was on display in two separate parts of the museum, one in their Hatsune Miku exhibit and the other one in the main area. The light in both places was a little tricky, but I think that I could snap enough details to get us all excited!
Yokohama being famous for its harbour, was definitely the influence behind Miku’s maritime outfit and accessories. If you remember the outfits that were on sale during Pullip’s anniversary exhibition, I have to admit that I had sort of a deja-vu. But they do played with the design a little bit and made it more sporty looking. What do you think?
My favourite details about her are her pastel blue coloured wig and eyebrows. It definitely sets her apart from the rest and gives her a soft and unique look.
After Classical Hatsune Miku, Snow Miku, Miku LOL Version and Sakura Miku, I think that this girl is a lovely new addition to the line up and I just cannot stop thinking about how many people around the world were excited to see her, which is why I do truly hope that she will make her rounds in international online shops one day too and that we will all be able to enjoy this little sailor in our own homes!

Would you like to get your hands on this little lady? Do you have a previous released Miku Pullip?
Thank you so much for reading!
