Happy Easter, everybody and welcome to my eighth Dolly Week, my weekly post in which I like to ramble on about all dolly- and toy-related topics that crossed my way in the past seven days!
I was sick all week and am now so done with being cooped up at home. I just cannot wait to get out and to be able to do other things than sleep and watch anime all day. On a positive note, I also finally created a page for my doll reviews to make this blog more organized. It is going to be constantly updated with the newest reviews. The page is also linked in my side bar!
I found the perfect Sailor Neptune school uniform on Etsy (since I did not get the Premium Bandai release), which I am super looking forward to. Now Michiru only needs black flats and a black headband to complete her outfit. Although this has to wait until after I review her, I also want to brush out her hair to make it more similar to the original character. In the meantime she is wearing this elaborate outfit:
Really amazing news came from Disney and Lucasfilms, when they announced a new doll series called Forces of Destiny, which is called after their new Star Wars cartoon. They are supposed to go on sale at the beginning of August (hopefully also in Europe, pretty please) and every single one of them is beautiful. Who is your favorite of the bunch? I would have to go with Leia and would not mind to purchase her together with the Wookie she is pictured with! ๐
I am now going to spend the rest of the day with my family and hope that you all are going to have a nice Sunday, too! I cannot wait to get back in the swing of things and to all the fun little projects I have planned!
Thank you so much for reading!
Theri
I’m getting all the forces of destiny dolls! I love them! Of course, I will have to share them with my daughters, because I know they will love them too!
They look so fierce and pretty! I hope that I will find somebody to share, too-considering that my fiancรฉ is a big fan and got me into Star Wars! ๐
