Unfortunately there are not that many official Pullip outfit sets around anymore, but one that I am still seeing here and there, is Groove’s ‘Capri Picnic Look Set’ from their Outfit Selection line. It took me some time to add it to my dollies’ closet, but in the end I am glad that I did. Let’s dive into the post for this super season appropriate and darling Pullip ensemble starring Miss Sencha! Review: Pullip Bonnie
In 2016 we were blessed with so many beautiful Pullip releases and Pullip Bonnie is one of them! She is an original release and the more time you spend with her, the more you will fall in love! She also is a prime example of the fact that the face up should be the main reason for getting a doll, since her concept is not up my alley at all. That being said, I will write this review, strictly looking at the quality of the stock and to show you every detail as usual. I hope, you will like it! 🙂 Continue reading Review: Pullip Bonnie
Review: Pullip Creator’s Label Callie
Pullip Callie is one out of two Pullip dolls, which were released in 2016 in Groove’s Creator’s Label series in collaboration with Thai doll artists Happydolly and Memento. Happydolly created the face ups and Memento the outfits. Pullip Callie is the twin sister of Pullip Cassie, who I reviewed here. The twins Pullip Callie and Cassie are sold separately. Review: Pullip Creator’s Label Cassie
Pullip Cassie is a Pullip Creator’s Label release from 2016. Cassie and her twin sister Callie are a collaboration with Thai doll artists Happydolly, who did the face up, and Memento, who was in charge of designing the outfits. Their flair is very girly and flirty with lots of lace and pastel colours. Today I am going to review Pullip Cassie, the sister in the blue outfit. Comparing Pullip Cassie and Pullip Callie’s Face Ups!
Pullip Cassie und Pullip Callie are 2016 Creator’s Label line releases that were designed by doll artists Happydolly/Memento. Approaching to write about those two seemed a bit intimidating, so I decided to start with a post comparing both of their face ups, before each of these cuties will get their own reviews. I have written about Groove Pullip twins before, Pullips Clara and Chloi, but those two are sporting different colour schemes, while Cassie and Callie actually seem to share the same taste in make up. But don’t be fooled: There are some distinct differences, which do play a big role in creating their sweet expressions!

Meet Sencha by Nina’s Dolls!
Pullip Sencha was a wonderful way to start the new year and is my first Pullip addition of 2018. She was created by extremely talented Nina from Nina’s Dolls, who has her own distinctive style, which I have been admiring for a while, when looking at her dolls owned by lucky fellow collectors. She does not take commissions at the moment, but I highly recommend a visit to her Facebook page or Instagram to keep an eye out for future customs and to admire all of her many different creations!
Review: Pullip Dilettante (2014)
Pullip Dilettante was one of the first Pullips that I discovered online and instantly loved. There is something about this girl, released in early 2014, which left me fascinated. Her concept is being a hard-working business girl in the big city, therefore her stock is quite unusual for a Pullip, being extremely chic business attire. I love otherworldly concepts, but sometimes it’s nice to have a selection of clothes that are more realistic in an adults day to day life, while still being super fancy. In her official description it does not say, how much her name ‘Dilettante’ actually refers to her character, but the way this girl is wearing her make-up and is dressing up, doesn’t scream dilettante to me! 😉
Meet Pullip Suzume with a Face Up by Mikiyochii: How to Style a Pullip around her Custom Face Up!
A little girl of mine is ready to say ‘hello’ today to all of you: It’s Suzume, aka Suzy, who is my autumnal mori girl with a love for nature and green as her favorite color. I was super lucky to score a face up slot from talented German Pullip artist Mikiyochii, who was super nice throughout the process of creating the face up and I could not be happier with the outcome and cherish it forever and ever! Since it was my first time not getting a full custom, I wanted Suzume’s style to be extra cute and fitting to the image I had of her. I am now happy to be able to share the whole process with you around creating my Pullip’s character! How To Change Rubber Pullip Eyechips (on Pullip Summer Purezza)
This is going to be a quick post, since I already went super into detail in my previous post about changing plastic eyechips on Pullips. Click here to read the full article!
Instead of having to break the eyechips out of the eye mechanism’s sockets, you will have to cut them out with an exacto knife. I did not want to take any pictures of this process, since it was pretty gnarly looking. My recommendation would be, to cut directly into the middle of the rubber eyechips and to pull the pieces of rubber out of the sockets with your hands. In contrast to plastic eyechips, rubber eyechips are not reusable. The most delicate step is to make sure that no residue of the eyechips stays behind in the sockets, which you might need to again use your exacto knife for. It is important to be careful not to scratch the white plastic of the eye-mechanism in the process. The rest is pretty much a piece of cake!
I hope this short piece helped and thank you so much for reading!

My Dolly Week #39: Groove is Back on Track with Pullip Nanette Erica Ver., Pullip Himawari and Pullip Eileen for Spring 2018!
Welcome to an amazing Dolly Week! As many of you might know, I finally started collecting Pullips in 2016, which was a year full of several amazing releases per month. Since I am writing this blog, Pullip releases have been a rare thing and to say that I was worried, is an understatement. My thoughts were pretty much that I might have started, when it was all coming to an end. But today, I finally have great news about upcoming releases, which I am excited about and immediately started budgeting for.
Before talking about them though, I spent my week customizing and styling my dolls. Elise, my Pullip Classical Alice, I already had customized before, but desperately needed new lashes. From some angles, her expression looked off because her stock lashes looked so thin with her new sparkling mint eyechips. I am much happier with her now and it seems like Elise is too! The more you customize your dolls, the more your skills grow and the more you will know, how you like to style your dolls. In these pictures, she met deer Gustav for the first time, who recently moved in, when I was browsing for dolly sized Christmas stuff!
The girl, who needed most of my attention, was Poppy, my Summer Purezza. Her early type-3 body was so floppy that I hated myself, but could not prevent myself from calling her ‘Floppy Poppy’ in my mind. Look, who is now looking like an absolute queen with her new obitsu body! Floppy Poppy, no more! She also got new eyechips, new lashes and a new wig. Her look is now very grown-up and I am so grateful that everything went well! I am going to write up a quick post about changing rubber eyechips. Doing things for the first time is scary, but so educational at the same time!
