Pullip Princess Kakyu literally arrived at my doorstep this morning and I had to share her with you immediately because I just feel that she is such a fabulous Pullip release! She is brand new and was just released in Japan last Saturday, which made her arrival even more surprising and joyous for me! Princess Kakyu is a character from Sailor Moon’s last storyline/anime season and Groove Inc. did an amazing job to bring her character into (dolly) life! 🌖

After talking about giving my Blythe dolls more love for ages, I am finally putting my money, where my mouth is and present you my second Neo-Blythe doll Lorshek Molseh, who is a 2014 release and has – as her name is an anagram for Sherlock Holmes – a detective theme. Her stock outfit simply rocks! 🔍

Pullip Lupinus was released in November 2016 and pretty much immediately joined my dolly family. She is part of Groove Inc.’s Creator’s Label line and the creator behind Lupinus is Japanese artist Silver Butterfly, who had already designed the outfit for Pullip Galene in 2012. Honestly, don’t miss out on this girl! 🍭

The Weasley family is a such an important safety net in the world of protagonist Harry Potter, there is no way that Ron and Ginny would not make an appearance in Mattel’s line of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘ dolls, which were made with the actors of 2002’s major motion picture in mind. Watching the Harry Potter films in the cinema, were always important dates in my childhood, which continued throughout my adolescence and were completed, when society categorized me as an adult. Even though I will always prefer the books of J. K. Rowling’s enormously famous fantasy saga about a young wizard fighting for the good, the films and their cast will always hold a special place in my heart! Now, sixteen years after the original release of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘, Mattel decided to release a new line of six dolls, modelled after the characters appearing in the story. These characters are fan favorites Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, as well as headmaster Albus Dumbledore and professor Minerva McGonagall. In 2016 we were blessed with so many beautiful Pullip releases and Pullip Bonnie is one of them! She is an original release and the more time you spend with her, the more you will fall in love! She also is a prime example of the fact that the face up should be the main reason for getting a doll, since her concept is not up my alley at all.
