When I started collecting Pullips, I was sure that I was never going to change them out of their stocks. Little did I know, how much fun lies in customizing and how much creativity is truly involved for a cute result. Today I want to show you the first wigs that I got for my Pullips. I got five wigs from Korean retailer Leeke World and one from Groove’s own MIO line. All Leeke World wigs in this post are in the size 8-9 inches! Continue reading Wig Haul #1: Leeke World & MIO

My Dolly Week #22: Little Changes, Big Difference!
Welcome to the 22nd My Dolly Week post, in which we will discuss the newest announcements from Groove, promo pics for upcoming Blythes and were I can finally share the end of another dolly customizing project. Let’s start!
My Pullip Marie got a complete makeover. At first I wanted her to get a new dark brown wig, but this flowy and gorgeous baby blue wig from Leeke practically jumped into the shopping cart on its own. It is probably the softest wig ever and its color is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Truly lush, long and flowy, its pastel tone compliments Marie’s very light and subtle brows. It also helps that her face-up consists out of earthy tones, which go well with a pop of color!
Custom doll artists Kiki & Chrysanthemum make beautiful custom eyechips for their dolls and occasionally put a few pairs of them on sale. I got a pair consisting out of two different colors, silver with a little bit of bronze and indigo blue, which sparkles beautifully. It all came together in a crazy way, when I realized that these had to be the new eyechips for Marie and her luxurious wig. Fate struck and the Carmenred Lolita Witch Dress set, which I got over half a year ago through Sugar Lattice Doll Boutique, came into my mind. Why not answer pastels with even more pastels?! Her lace-up booties are the stock boots from Pullip Cheshire Cat. I just love this feeling of making the most of a doll you really care about. And I am so happy that I lost my shyness to change up my stock dolls’ looks because it makes it all so much more fun for me!
Of course there are certain dolls, I do not ever plan to change up somehow, but if there is something you do not absolutely love, you can play with your sense of aesthetics and try out new things! This also applied to me with Pullip Lupinus, whose stock is great, but she just so much more feels like my doll now. Lu looks like a fluffy bunny now, who just wants to relax in her comfy clothes all day. I told her that that’s the right way to go! Comfy is awesome, when you are as adorable as her!
My custom sweeties had a cute little photo shoot on my fluffy pink blanket to celebrate the release of Miss Ruri’s official pictures on Marías website. They are so pretty and cute! I love looking at them in general because every Poison Girl on her site is so special-I will definitely keep you posted, when Mayu‘s photographs are released! My Dolly Week #13: Customs & Pineapple Princesses!
Welcome to another My Dolly Week Sunday post. I write these posts every week, since I started this blog and like to share different doll related things that came across my way in the past seven days.
First of all: Look at Theodora in the picture above! She is basically me, when I am having a nice day at home. Nothing matches, but I still feel fabulous! This week I randomly redressed my dolls without end. Some look great, some look questionable, but promised to forgive me. I also had my first case of picture theft on Instagram, but if they are going to continue, I will still go on to comment with a link to my profile. And in the end I will flag their account. So please do not wonder, if I have to put watermarks on my pictures in the future. Continue reading My Dolly Week #13: Customs & Pineapple Princesses!
My Dolly Week #12: Myra and Luise!
Welcome and happy Mother’s Day to all the awesome Moms out there! It is Sunday and time for another dolly week, in which I like to write about all dolly-related things that I’ve come across in the past seven days! My highlight of the week was this beauty:
Pullip Myra is an early anniversary gift that I tried not to open until June, but I could not resist. She was released in 2013 and limited to 300 dolls. Groove later released Pullip Aira in 2014, which is a re-colored version. Their big main differences seem to be the wig, the eyechips, the eyeshadow and lip color. Myra is one of those unicorns that suddenly appears and decides to stay with you. She is pure movie star glamour and I love her face! Her stock implies that she is a burlesque dancer, which is not totally up my alley. I like her more in this ensemble from Pariflora Dolls (her socks are from Belle Magni, her shoes and headband are from Groove)! It completely changes her look! My Dolly Week #10: The End of Waiting!
Welcome everybody! It is my 10th week already, talking about all doll and toy-related things that I did in the last seven days. I hope that everyone had a good week and you can also check me out on Instagram, where I like to post daily. 🙂
Last week two Pullip girls came home and made their way into my collection and heart. Like lots of collectors, I love completing collections. When I was able to score Pullip Seila from Mandarake, I could not help, but order Pullip Laura. She was on back-order from my go-to European sellers and so I was looking forward to her for over six weeks. And, if I have had to, I would have waited for this exquisite doll even longer! Laura was the last of the Creator’s Label Pullip with a face-up from mitsubachi@BabyBee that was still missing in my collection. Laura is the older sister of Pullip Alura and both were created with Seila’s face-up in mind from Pure Embers or Laura, who is a photographer and has one of my favorite Flickr-accounts. I am so in love with Pullip Laura, I cannot even tell you! And I need to redress Alura into one of her Momolita outfits. Still, it’s kind of fun to see her in pastel-colors… Continue reading My Dolly Week #10: The End of Waiting!
Review: Pullip Marie by Angelic Pretty
Pullip Marie is a collaboration doll with Japanese lolita fashion brand Angelic Pretty to celebrate the label’s 15th anniversary. For Pullip it is the third release with Angelic Pretty, Pullip Sfoglia being the first in 2009 and Pullip Prupate the second in 2011. Marie was released in Japan in September 2016 and is the princess in my collection. Continue reading Review: Pullip Marie by Angelic Pretty
