My Thoughts On: Pullip Jeanne for July 2019

Pullip Jeanne

Ever since I have been collecting Pullips, there have been a wide variety of dolls in collaboration with Japanese fashion brands. With Pullip Jeanne the company is taking a new direction by releasing a girl wearing a military lolita fashion inspired outfit. Continue reading My Thoughts On: Pullip Jeanne for July 2019

Review: PULLIP SAILOR URANUS ⭐| SAILOR MOON SERIES | REUNION W/ SAILOR NEPTUNE πŸ’™

I had it coming: After Pullip Sailor Neptune, who was the fifth Pullip and therefore a pioneer for my other girls, moved in a long time ago, Pullip Uranus has finally joined her and I don’t need to have a bad conscience anymore to stand in the way of true love! ⭐

Review: PULLIP CLASSICAL WHITE RABBIT 🐰 | CLASSICAL ALICE SERIES

In 2013 Pullip Classical White Rabbit hopped onto the doll scene to be shortly followed by Classical Alice afterwards. She is a classic through and through…plus oh so cute! 🐰

Pullip Funassyi, Pullip Dilettante & Pullip Bonnie Are Available For Pre-Order (Again)!

Pretty in Pink! This is going to be a rather quick post, but I think that it should definitely be worth a mention that some of my favourite dolls are going to make a comeback – as well as Pullip Funassyi being available in a super limited number on Pullip Style!

Pullip Funassyi Classical Lolita VersionWhen Pullip Funassyi was announced, I mentioned on this blog, how much I was in love with the whole look, but especially with the doll’s sweet look itself, since her faceup seems to have a nice balance between sweetness and innocence with rather unique and interesting makeup. You can get her through shipping services in Japan, since she is exclusive to Funassyi Stores, but luckily Pullip Style got the okay for a limited pre-order; making it easier for buyers overseas. And yes: This June (or more realistically July) you will be able to see a review of Pullip Funassyi from me!

Close-up of Pullip DilettanteI also need to point out the return of Pullip Dilettante, one of my grail dolls! She is so interesting with her modern day work outfit, ginger wig and amazing purple themed eye makeup! You can read my review about her here or watch my ‘Pullip Grail’ video, in which she makes an appearance, here!

Pullip Bonnie, I named her Vivi. Then there is Pullip Bonnie: You can read my review about her here and I will admit right away that, while I am not a fan of her stock outfit, I believe that she is one of the most beautiful Pullips in the last few years. I need to take more pictures of her, but every day I am amazed by her beautiful lips and sophisticated eyes. Her making a comeback is truly great news!

Are you happy about these girls being available again? I have to admit that sometimes the second (or third or fourth) round of availability for older releases gets me even more excited than new ones; it’s like finding a pot of gold! (Considering that Saint Patrick’s Day was yesterday…)

Thank you so much for reading!

My Thoughts On: Pullip Yuhwa for May 2019

Pullip YuhwaPullip has found her love for Korean mythology in 2019! Just four months after releasing Pullip Kumiho, the sweet little nine tailed fox, AGA and Groove are presenting their vision of Lady Yuhwa, the mother of King Dongmyeong, the first king of Goguryeo, one of The Three Kingdoms of Korea. Not only was she the mother of a king, but legend also says that she was the daughter of a God! Continue reading My Thoughts On: Pullip Yuhwa for May 2019

My Thoughts On: Pullip Funassyi Classical Lolita Version for May 2019 | Japan Exclusive

Pullip Funassyi Classical Lolita VersionPullip Funassyi Classical Lolita VersionI honestly have no idea, where to start. So just let me say that there is nothing, absolutely nothing about this Pullip that I don’t like! Even though I am normally super quick to jump on any kind of bandwagon that revolves around Japanese characters or mascots, yellow pear and Chiba’s representative mascot Funassyi never really tickled my fancy so much that I was okay with forking over some Yen – until now! Imagine my sorrow, when my dreams were a little crushed, when I read that this Pullip is only being promoted as a Japan exclusive release. (Although we must not forget that 2016’s Japan exclusive ‘Le Petit Prince‘ collaboration with Alice & The Pirates also found their way into international online shops…there is still hope and I am not ready to give up just yet!) My Thoughts On: Special Yokohama Doll Museum Hatsune Miku Pullip

Pullip Hatsune Miku YokohamaA few weeks ago I was lucky to be able to visit the new Hatsune Miku figure exhibition in Yokohama’s Doll Museum on its opening day. To celebrate the occasion, Groove Inc. was displaying their newest interpretation of the Vocaloid icon, which will go on sale this month. As of now, we do not know, whether she will become a regular release later on, but apparently the museum will only have 250 dolls for sale. Review: PULLIP PERE NOEL ❄ | DOLL CARNIVAL 2012 ❄

Ballerina Pere Noel danced herself into everybody’s hearts at 2012’s ‘Doll Carnival’ festival in Ginza, where a life-sized version of her was on display as well. She was designed by Japanese artist Asami Kiyokawa, who is famous for her embroidery. There was only a limited number of this Pullip sold and she is definitely something special – her name means ‘Father Christmas’, who I honestly have always imagined very differently… πŸ˜Šβ„β›„

My Customized PULLIP KIRSCHE πŸ’ // A Semi-Review!

I got my 2008 released Pullip Kirsche second-hand without her stock wig or any of her stock clothes. Luckily, all I ever wanted was her beautiful face-up and she is even still wearing those super pretty indigo blue eyechips! Kirsche means ‘cherry’ in German and you will see lots of pretty and juicy red tones in her make-up that will make you swoon! πŸ’
